With its drive to reach the blossoming tech entrepreneurial market in San Francisco, as well as other major urban areas across the US, Silicon Valley Bank sought to expand its service offerings through the provision of seed funding and other startup support tools for these emerging innovators. The need for a fresh new look was evident.
With its branding standards solidly in place, the decision was made to create a new SVB satellite image – one which was affected by the energetic, rule-challenging, worldly and creative culture which has been increasingly defining how business is done. This fledgeling new identity would be adaptive to local vernacular, celebratory of individuality and conducive to collaboration of ideas and resources.
Scope of the San Francisco project included naming and branding the satellite facility in the historic Golden Gate Theatre, and the design and production of interior graphics.
